Ulrika Richardson
Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator is the highest-ranking representative of the United Nations Development System in Kosovo. The RC is the designated representative of – and reports to – the UN Secretary-General.
Ulrika has the overall role of team-leading the United Nations Kosovo Team (UNKT) and ensuring the coordination of UN support to Kosovo in their implementation of the 2030 Agenda, through strategic leadership and guidance. The DC is advised and supported by the Development Coordinators Office (DCO).
Cornelia Schneider
Senior Development Coordination Officer / Economist
Connie oversees the provision of substantive advice on innovative economic and SDG policies to the DC and UNKT, as well as to counterparts in government and other relevant partners, including the European Union and other members of the international community. She coordinates evidence-based SDG analysis in support of a shared UNKT understanding of sustainable development trends, challenges and opportunities and leads the development of a new generation of UNKT SDG programmes focused on acceleration towards achieving the SDGs, as complementary to and aligned with EU integration priorities. Connie also directs SDG knowledge generation and management.
Lorik Pustina
DCO Team Leader, Development Coordination Officer / Strategic Planning
Lorik leads the provisions of strategic guidance to the RC and UNKT on effective, quality and timely UN support for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda through the Cooperation Framework. He coordinated the Business Operations Strategy, as well provides support establishing and coordinating external partnerships and joint resource mobilization efforts for the new generation UNSDCF. Lorik also develops business innovation ideas and leads overall management of the DCO to ensure efficient and effective substantive coordination support to the DC/UNKT and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Bashkim Isufi
Assistant Development Coordination Officer Partnerships and Development Finance
Bashkim provides support for strategic planning and coordination for the UNKT partnerships and resource mobilization for the SDGs implementation and acceleration within the Decade of Actions agenda. He supports the development of strategic policy documents and frameworks and provides analysis for different areas of SDGs financing and partners involvements. He also provides support in exploring innovative financing mechanisms for the acceleration of the SDGs.
Shpend Qamili
Associate Development Coordination Officer, Programme Communications, Advocacy and Outreach
Shpend contributes to strategic advocacy, programme communication and outreach in support of the UNSDCF and local promotion of United Nations global communications and advocacy priorities on the work of the United Nations in other key thematic areas such as SDGs and UN Values. He provides substantive support to the DC and UNKT on strategic advocacy, programme communications, media relations, outreach, as well as social media and online communications. Shpend supports the development of publications and media products and manages the branding for. He also coordinates the work of the UNKT Communication Group.
Vjosa Macula
Executive Associate to DC
Vjosa provides administrative and logistical support to the UN Development Coordinator in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) by supporting in effective and efficient functioning of the DCO, effective communications and administrative support to the office as well as effective facilitation of knowledge building and management.
Yllka Pllana
Assistant Development Coordination Officer Data/Knowledge Management and Results Monitoring/Reporting
Yllka provides support and coordinates inter-agency efforts for monitoring and reporting of UNKT results under the UNSDCF. She provides support in development and implementation of the CCA and UNSDCF, including support to UNCT data and research strategies. Yllka supports the UN’s engagement with national data and statistical systems, by facilitating engagement with national entities, including on SDG indicators framework and SDG monitoring and reporting.
Anton Gille
UN Youth Volunteer in Gender Equality & SDGs
United Nation Youth Volunteer (UNYV) in Gender Equality & SDGs Anton provides support to ongoing UN advocacy efforts on gender equality, women’s empowerment and other relevant SDGs in close coordination with UN organizations and relevant partners. He performs relevant duties assigned by the UN Development Coordinator and her team, including coordination, research, mapping, analysis and knowledge building.
Anesa Topko
National UN Volunteer, Information Management Officer
National UN Volunteer (NUNV) supports the Communication Officer and Country Coordinator to maintain an information network to facilitate information exchange and the promotion of data related to Development Agenda and COVID-19 pandemic. She assists in managing all relevant web and social media platforms, and designs, develops and manages databases, spreadsheets and other data tools.
