Within the framework of the project “Creation of the Transitional Justice Resource Centre (TJRC) at the University of Prishtina”, implemented by UN Women and UNDP, with the financial support of the European Union, the first University Transitional Justice Resource Centre has been established in Kosovo.
With the purpose of officially announcing the establishment of the said centre, a launching event is to be held on 11 May 2018. The main aim of the event is to announce the establishment of the resource centre to relevant stakeholders, both from the public governmental institutions, and the university management, as well as the civil society and international stakeholders, while at the same time promoting the centre and the academic staff of the university. In order to promote the discussion on the important role the academia can play on transitional issues, a one-day workshop will be organized in the margins of the Launching event.
