United Nations Kosovo Team (UNKT) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kosovo have the pleasure to announce arrival of the new UN Development Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, Ms. Ulrika Richardson who assumed her duties on 26 April 2018.

Prior to coming to Kosovo, Ms. Richardson was the UN Resident Coordinator and Representative of UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA in Cabo Verde since March 2013. Prior to joining Cabo Verde, she served as UNDP Representative ai in Gabon, and Deputy Resident Representative in Turkey (2007-2012) and Cuba (2004-2007).

Her interest in international questions started with the Swedish immigration board in 1993 and her professional life as a development practitioner, includes serving with the UN Volunteers where she developed a global gender advisory programme, with the African Development Bank in Cote d’Ivoire and working with the Swedish representation in Guinea Bissau.

Ulrika holds post-graduate degrees in Development Economics at Gothenburg University and Social Psychology at Lund University both in Sweden.
